MOUNT MAKER / BETA 0.9.2
Custom trays for FPV receivers, GPS modules, and beepers
Make room for the small components in your drone. Size a tray to the complete receiver, GPS module, or beeper and choose how the device and tray will be held in place.

A measured device pocket
Set the inside dimensions, side allowance, and height below the retaining lips. Controls use millimeters.
Zip ties or mounting bolts
Choose zip-tie channels, one mounting bolt, two bolts, or a four-bolt rectangular pattern. Side slots retain the device.
Openings and retaining lips
Adjust cable notches and an optional bottom opening. Add overlapping side lips or set overlap to zero for an open tray.
BEFORE YOU START
Measure the actual build.
- The complete device width, length, and thickness
- Available frame space and the bolt or zip-tie attachment layout
- Cable exits, tie dimensions, and access for inserting the device
The preview helps you design the part. Printed fit, retention, and strength still depend on your measurements, material, and printer.
From dimensions to STL
Measure the whole device
Include the portions of the board, case, or connectors that need to sit inside the pocket.
Choose how it attaches
Set the mounting layout and tune lip overlap, tie slots, and cable openings.
Export and check the fit
Save the project and export a connected tray in the full version. Test retention and access with your component.
Questions about electronics trays
Can I make an ELRS receiver mount?
Yes, by sizing the tray to the actual receiver and choosing suitable retention and cable openings. It is dimension-driven rather than a verified fit database for every receiver model.
Can the tray use an asymmetric four-bolt pattern?
The four-bolt tray uses a rectangular pattern. Asymmetric front and rear drone patterns are rejected rather than silently converted.
Can I remove the retaining lips?
Yes. Set the lip overlap to zero for an open tray. Choose the retention arrangement that works with your material and device, and check it with a test print.
Make your own electronics trays.
